What we collect
Details you give us through the quiz. If you complete the quiz on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and your answers, which describe your agency (client niche, client count, revenue band, how you handle builds). Your answers are used to produce your result and to prepare for any conversation you choose to have with us.
Details you give us directly. If you email or call us, we collect what you share with us and our reply history.
Usage data. We use analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, quiz steps completed, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site (referrer and campaign parameters such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers).
Security data. IP addresses and browser signals are processed to protect our forms from automated abuse and to rate-limit repeated requests.
How we use it, and the legal basis
- To show your quiz result and email you a copy — taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
- To contact you after you submit the quiz. The capture step tells you we will text you a link and that one of the team will ring you to talk through your result — you opt in by submitting the form with your phone number (consent, Article 6(1)(a)). You can opt out of further contact at any time, in any channel, and one opt-out silences all our channels.
- To run and improve the site — analytics and error monitoring (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).
- To protect the site — bot detection and rate limiting (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal obligations — records we must keep (Article 6(1)(c)).
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Quiz scoring only routes how quickly a human speaks to you.
Who processes it for us
- HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel) — our CRM. Quiz submissions, contact details, and follow-up history are stored here. HighLevel is a US company; transfers are safeguarded as described below.
- PostHog (EU cloud) — analytics, hosted in the EU.
- Cloudflare — DNS, security, and Turnstile bot protection.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Hetzner — EU server hosting.
Each provider acts under a data processing agreement. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA (for example HighLevel or Sentry in the United States), the transfer is protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
How long we keep it
- Quiz submissions and lead records: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted or anonymised — sooner if you ask.
- Analytics data: retained under PostHog's standard retention and not tied to your name unless you submitted the quiz.
- Opt-out records: kept indefinitely, so an opt-out stays honoured.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and similar technologies
See the cookie policy for what we store in your browser and why.
Children
This site is aimed at people running a business and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting quiz submissions will be flagged on the capture step.
